In addition to this, the 83WP/53 facilitates quick and easy shackle exchange; this feature is not present on the 83WP/63.

These padlocks have been optimised for outdoor usage and higher-level security applications. They are suitable for securing items of a higher value and/or items at a greater risk of theft.

Their removable high-precision pin tumbler cylinders with patented pinning window, both enables these padlocks to be re-keyed for integration into existing security systems and protects the padlocks against tampering.   

In addition to its patented pinning window, this product also features a patented Z-bar which can easily convert the padlock from key-retaining to non-key-retaining, allowing the user to swiftly tailor this product to his/her needs.

Finally, these padlocks have been optimised to resist the effects of the weather. To this end, both of the above ABUS 83WP Hardened Alloy Padlocks feature a shackle and body constructed from hardened steel alloy and surrounded by NANO PROTECT™ coating which works to prevent corrosion and the build-up of rust. Adding to this product’s resilience is its durable weather cover with drainage pipes which help to protect it against adverse weather conditions.
