The ABUS 74/40HB75 Intrinsically Safe Padlocks with Long Shackles are available in ten standard key different (with one key) models. These models only differ in terms of their colour and are available in the following colours:

PLEASE NOTE these are only a fraction of the ABUS’ 74/40HB74 Intrinsically Safe Padlocks available, for instance, these padlocks are also available in keyed-alike or master key designs. All of these padlocks also feature a six-pin precision cylinder which can be removed and re-keyed to a sample key. The inclusion of a six-pin precision cylinder, as well as a paracentric keyway and double-bolted shackle, protects these padlocks from tampering and manipulation.  These features make the ABUS 74/40HB75 Intrinsically Safe Padlocks suitable for security applications, such as locking suitcases, bags, and lockers, as well as lockout, and tag-out applications and can be used to secure machines, switchboards, and job boxes.

These compact, lightweight padlocks have been optimised for use in hazardous environments and to this end feature an aluminium body and steel shackle for maximum physical strength. Both of these components are also insulated against electric shocks. Furthermore, the elongated steel shackle is surrounded by NANO PROTECT™ coating, ensuring that these padlocks are resistant to corrosion.

Finally, the ABUS 74/40HB75 padlocks are all key retaining and self-locking, features that help to reduce the risk of accidentally leaving the padlock open, again adding to the security of these products.
