ABUS Travel USA 148TSA/30C Padlock

The ABUS Travel USA 148TSA/30C Padlock has been developed by the TSA’s guidelines. It can be used to secure luggage or other low-value items when travelling into and/or around the USA.

This padlock can be opened and closed by the TSA (Transport Security Administration – set up in response to the 11th September 2001 attacks) without damaging the lock as the cable shackle opens by pressing the lever located on the side of the padlock. Once the ABUS Travel USA 148TSA/30C Padlock has been opened by the TSA it will display a red indicator, to re-set this indicator the user needs only turn the shackle 360°.

Furthermore, the three-digit pin code used to open this padlock can be reset thereby allowing the user to tailor this padlock to his/her needs. This adds to the ABUS Travel USA 148TSA/30C Padlock’s practicality as does its compact size, cable diameter of 2mm, and write-on name tag. The included tag allows the user to quickly identify his/her padlock and by extension his/her secured item.
